The Mustangs traveled to Northampton to play Williston this afternoon. Williston is always a strong contender in the NEPSAC post-season so the girls prepared for a high-intensity game. Millbrook came out hard and took advantage of the few opportunities they created in front of the net. Williston outshot the Mustangs throughout the game, but Millbrook did a good job of keeping the Williston offense to the outside and getting pucks deep into Willistons d-zone. As the game progressed, fatigue set in and the Mustangs were outskated in the third period. The Mustangs will rest-up over the weekend and prepare for the Annual Ed Allen Cup with Gunnery on Wednesday.
