The girls hit the ice hard at the beginning of the third and tallied three goals in the first seven minutes. Portledge broke the stalemate with a scrum in front of the net. Millbrook pulled their goalie for the final two minutes, but were unable to keep the puck in the offensive zone. Portledge sealed their win with an empty net goal.
