JV Girls' Soccer @ Ethel Walker

In the blistering heat and humidity of Simsbury, CT, the girls' got the season off to a fine start.  The scoring came fast and furiously as the first half ended even at 3-3.  Things settled down in the second half, resulting in a tight 5-4 win for Ethel Walker.  Lexi Wierdsma had a great game in goal, stoning Walker girls at least twice from sure goals.  Molly Reid, Paeten Parker each found the back of the net and Zoe Tucker added two goals, including a great combination play that involved four different players.  Devyn Farrell had an excellent game on defense, and helped set up Molly's goal.  A great start to the year.
