Mustangs Win Sixth Straight, Beating Gunnery 7-1

The Millbrook Varsity softball team defeated Gunnery for the second time in five days, this time with a 7-1 victory on Gunnery's turf field. Riley Croghan '18 led the way offensively, reaching base in 4 of her 5 at bats, including a home run and a triple. Emma Gotthelf '19 reached in 3 of her 5 at bats as well. Croghan held Gunnery to three hits and had great defense behind her - Millbrook's outfield (Aria Bowden '18, Helene Apollon '19, and Helen Boone '19) made several nice snags, and Devyn Farrell '20 gunned out a runner at second who was trying to steal. The Mustangs will head to Berkshire on Saturday.
