Millbrook Takes Early Lead But Can't Hold On
Millbrook travelled to Cantebury on Monday afternoon in the opening matchup of their three-game week. The Mustangs came off the bus hot, plating three runs in the 1st inning.
Unfortuantely, despite threatening in the next two innings, Millbrook was unable to push across more runs, leaving the door open for a Canterbury comeback that materialized in the sixth inning. The Mustangs were unable to mount a comeback of their own and went home with the loss.
Millbrook will next host Salisbury on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 PM.
