Millbrook Bats Unable to Provide Timely Hits
Millbrook hosted Gunnery on Wednesday afternoon for a divisional game. With ferocious wind blowing in from the outfield, it was quickly apparent that runs would be hard to come by.
Both teams were quiet through the five innings. Millbrook was unable to find a big hit, stranding five runners in scoring position over these frames.
Gunnery broke through in the top of the sixth, scoring three runs with two outs. They would go on to add three in the seventh to take the game.
Millbrook will travel to Berkshire on Saturday for a 3:30 PM start.
