Mustangs Dominate Hamden Hall 19-0 on Parents Weekend

The Millbrook Varsity Softball team ended Parents Weekend in style with a definitive 19-0 win over Hamden Hall. Kat Mackey '17 and Riley Croghan '18 led the way offensively, as each went 3-for-4 on the afternoon. Mackey had six RBI while Croghan added four. Croghan has had multiple hits - most for extra bases - in each of Millbrook's seven games this year. Every Millbrook hitter scored at least once, and Jessie Foote '18, Helene Apollon '19, Devyn Farrell '20, and Sam Besca '18 added RBI as well. On the mound, Croghan earned the complete-game win, striking out nine with no walks in five innings. Millbrook will host Miss Hall's on Wednesday.
