Mustangs Earn 13-0 Win over Hotchkiss

The Millbrook Varsity Softball team had a decisive 13-0 win over Hotchkiss at home on Saturday. Riley Croghan '18 earned the shutout win (while not allowing the ball into the outfield - she gave up just two infield hits and struck out eight in five innings) while also going 3-for-3 with two triples, a double, a walk, 6 RBI, and three runs scored. Emma Gotthelf '19 also had a pair of RBI. Aria Bowden '18 and Kelly Phan '18 had RBI as well, and Gotthelf, Jessie Foote '18, Maya Holmes '17, Kat Mackey '17, Devyn Farrell '20, and Phan each scored at least one run. The Mustangs played good defense behind Croghan and played well as a team. Millbrook will travel to Kent on Wednesday.
