Millbrook Can't Overcome Titan Bats
Millbrook hosted Wilbraham & Monson Academy in their home opener on Saturday. The Titans got off the bus quickly, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning. The Mustangs responded in the home half of the second, tying the game at 3 with all 3 runs coming with 2-outs. Millbrook would fall behind once more in the 3rd inning, when a combination of defensive miscues, well-placed contact, and baserunners gave the Titans 6 runs.
It was a deficit from which Millbrook was unable to rebound and the Mustangs would eventually fall to Wilbraham by a final score of 11-4. Millbrook will be at home again on Wednesday against the Bears of Berkshire.
