Millbrook Begins League Play With A Victory

Due to weather, Millbrook travelled to The Gunnery on Wednesday for the season's opening league game. The Mustangs allowed an early baserunner to score and trailed 1-0 after 2 innings, despite hitting some balls hard. Millbrook broke through in the 3rd, scoring three runs, highlighted by a 2-RBI single from '17 Sean Hayden. That lead was enough for starter '17 Colby Dunlop, who would allow one more run before being replaced by '17 Jack Quartararo for the save.

'18 JonJon Conahan and '17 Trevor Herter added RBIs in the 6th to pad the Millbrook lead.

The Mustangs next host Wilbraham & Monson Academy on Saturday with first pitch at 3PM.
