Battle with the Bears

The Mustangs hit the road to take on Berkshire under the mountain. The first period was great hockey by both teams and both had several opportunities in the offensive ends. With 5:16 left in the 1st, Berkshire found a stick in the slot and was able to get on the board. With plenty of time left in the period, Millbrook continued to pressure the bears and with 4:00 left in the 1st, Emma Gotthelf `19 found Taylor Ham`17 in front to tie it up. The second period did not go in favor of the mustangs. Berkshire scored twice early in the period and Millbrook couldn't get back on the board but did play a solid defensive period of blocking shots and staying out of the box. The third period, the Mustangs worked hard to pressure Berkshire. Berkshire out shot Millbrook overall in the period and got on the score board two more times. Millbrook did not give up and Gotthelf`19 scored from Ham`17 to end the game 5-2.
