Mustangs Run With Class AA Lions

In a tough road environment, Millbrook put together their most complete game of the season in a loss to a very talented Class AA opponent in Masters School (CT). Handling myriad presses extended by Masters, Millbrook held a 39-38 lead going into halftime. In the second half, Masters depth and athleticism proved too much on this night, as the Lions used a 12-2 run early in the second half to build a lead.  Millbrook fought back, but it was too little, too late.  While the result is not what the boys wanted, the extremely tough early season schedule should give the boys confidence and experience as they begin the bulk of Class B play against Marianapolis at home on Saturday, January 14 at 4:00 pm.
