Sunday vs. KUA

The weekend continued as Millbrook took on KUA is a Sunday game. KUA was coming out after playing Canterbury on Saturday so both teams were coming out a little tired. However,that did not stop either team - both came out firing and ready to compete. The first period was physical and challenging. Both teams had opportunities but both defensive ends played strong and composed. In two periods of play there were combined eight penalties, refs were calling it tight. With less than five minutes left in the second period, KUA found the back of the net off of a rebound and scrum in front of the net. Entering the third period, Millbrook was ready to tie it up but one minute into the period KUA would score two quick goals. Teams had even shots but Millbrook was unable to capitalize on a bounce our way. Kudos to Kerry Carr `18, Elise Almgren `20, Aria Bowden `18 and Chloe Robinson `19  for several blocked shots in our defensive zone. Millbrook prepares to take on Canterbury home on Wednesday January 11th.
