Sweet Salisbury Sweep

The Mustangs opened up the 2017 season with a resounding victory vs the boys from Salisbury. With a new coach and a new recruit at #1, they turned out to be tougher than the final score would imply. Evens were up first and Henry R (#4) as well as Bud F (#8 exhibition) had little trouble winning in three straight. Dylan S won his match at #6 in 4 games to keep his undefeated streak alive, while Rjay at #2 went the distance with Salisbury's former #1 player, winning in a five game thriller!  With a 3-0 lead going into the turn, the boys were brimming with confidence as the odds took the court. Sam R at #7 clinched the match with a quick 3 game win, followed closely by Teddy M at #5 who won three close games, 16, 10 and 11. New to the team at #3 was Isaiah Miller who didn't disappoint, winning easily in three for his first of hopefully many victories for the Mustangs. Zack H at #1 took his foot off the gas in the second game but regained his form quickly to out pace his opponent in 4. Final 7-0.
