Mac is a senior at Wake Forest University, majoring in biology with minors in anthropology and environmental science. During his undergraduate years, he conducted research in tropical ecology and plant physiology. This research, in addition to his courses, took him to the Peruvian Amazon, the South African savannah, Belizean coral reefs, and various domestic destinations. His experience at Millbrook shaped his interest in the dynamics of tropical forest systems. Before Mac enrolled at Millbrook, he volunteered at the Trevor Zoo during his summer breaks. Mac was a zooie during all four of his Millbrook years, becoming a head curator as a VIth former. He is also the proud recipient of the Trevor Cup.
