Laura is a rising third-year law student at The George Washington Law School and law clerk for the civil litigation team of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). She previously worked as corporate counsel for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and has worked on pro bono projects to push D.C. legislation in furtherance of animal welfare.

Before attending law school, she worked at a breeding zoological conservation center, the ASPCA animal hospital with their rehabilitation center for victims of cruelty, a farm animal sanctuary and vegan activist movement, and the largest animal sanctuary in the U.S. operated by the HSUS. She is also a New York University alumnus and (potentially her greatest accomplishment) former head curator at the Trevor Zoo and Trevor Cup recipient.
