OT Loss

The Mustangs had a strong first period with good puck movement, strong defensive play and some good shot  opportunities on net. Jasiel '24, Downs '26, Trocchio '24 and the centers, P Smith '25 and J Smith '26 moved well in the defensive zone. Millbrook's play dipped in the second, and by the end of the period, Lawrenceville was up 2-0. In the third, however, Millbrook came together as a team, supported each other and Murphy '24 scored a beautiful goal on a breakaway after a great goalie poke check by Trocchio '24. With 32 seconds left in the third, Jasiel '24 scored the tying goal from a great face off from P Smith '25 and Murphy '24. Unfortunately, OT was quick and Lawrenceville came out on top.
