First game!

This was our first time out on a full field, and perhaps it showed a bit, though the score line does not reflect the closeness of the game. If you discount an own goal, a clearly offsides goal, and a messy corner kick goal, we really only allowed 1 good goal in. And boy did we improve throughout the match! We moved players all over the pitch to see where their skills were best suited. By the end of the game, the players found their groove, settled into positions, and realized just how much fitness we need to do in practice! Shout out to Mason S, who played in his first soccer game ever and was a huge presence on the field, and to Jacob D, who made several spectacular saves in goal. Most importantly, our team was super classy and supported each other positively. We look forward to more improvement!
