Boys' Cross-Country vs. Trinity-Pawling and Hotchkiss

The Boys' Cross-Country team travelled to Trinity-Pawling and competed in a tri-meet with both Trinity-Pawling and the Hotchkiss School.  The Mustangs faced a bigger, faster, and formidable opponent in Hotchkiss (they ended up securing the top nine spots), so the race became a close-knit competition for second place.  In the end, the Trinity-Pawling harriers just edged the Millbrook boys for total team points, with a final score of 26-29.  Despite losing the meet, the Millbrook runners ran very well and individually and collectively pushed themselves to their limits.  Charlie Weisberg was the top Millbrook runner (18:12), and he secured the tenth overall spot and bested all the Trinity-Pawling runners.  Not far behind, Mateo Winogrand came in twelfth place in 18:28.  The three other Millbrook runners rounding out the top five of scoring were Hugh McLaughlin (22nd - 18:41), Cam Abel (23rd - 18:42), and Toby Ayer (28th - 18:44).
