Off on another long road trip today, the boys’ soccer team overwhelmed a scrappy, but undermanned, Wilbraham side. The Mustangs jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. We controlled every aspect of the game. The stalwart back four bottled up the Wilbraham offense, the midfield corps controlled play and the forwards made good on a host of scoring opportunities. Bouda scored the eventual game winner; in addition, Grossman, Mohammed, Stark, DeStazio, Frankenbach, Sosnow and Ziv also scored. Stand-outs today include Moriarty and Cott in the middle and Peters and Simons in the back. Stowe came up big in the second half with several point-blank saves to preserve the shut-out.
