off to a jamboree

Last Sunday, Millbrook traveled to Loomis Chaffee School for a game against St. Mark’s School (MA), as part of the Northeast Soccer Jamboree event. The game got underway at 3:00 in front of a thinning, but very supportive, crowd. Millbrook stormed out to an early lead and never looked back. The combination of a stingy back four and our high flying forward line proved too much for a talented St. Mark’s side. Grossman had a banner day with a goal and an assist. DeStazio potted one of his own. Peters played well in place of Day, under the weather for the afternoon. Once again, every member of the squad logged significant playing time in another great team win.
