Home Double Header
The BV played a double header today with Suffield up first at 3pm. The evens got off to a fast start with Isaiah, Dylan and Teddy all winning in 3 games giving the Mustangs a 3-0 lead needing one more to clinch. Yassin was the first odd player off with a quick 3-0 win as well. Rjay had a struggle in his match and played terrific squash in the fifth game to complete a 12-10 fifth game win. Sam won in 4 and Bud dropped his match in 4. Final 6-1 Mustangs.
Next up was Williston who, according to the team rankings ,were very similar in strength to Suffield. The evens got started again first. Teddy and Isaiah both had quick 3 game wins while Dylan had an epic 5 game marathon dropping the match by 11-9 in the 5th. With the score at 2-1, the odds needed to perform well and they didn't disappoint. Yassin and Sam won in quick 3-0 matches, Rjay and Bud in 4. Of particular note was the exhibition match at #8 where Colin (the future of Millbrook squash) had the match of his life winning a spectacular 5 game contest 11-9 in the 5th. Final 6-1 Mustangs.
