Millbrook loses late lead but establishes momentum for 2018

The first half of this game started with both teams trading baskets. The Cavaliers then went on a run to go up 24-12 with a few minutes left in the half. However, the Mustangs fought back and went on a 6-0 run to end the half. The second half would be a game of runs. With just over 4 minutes left in the game Millbrook would take the lead by 1 at 41-42, only to foul on the other end where the the cavaliers would tie it up on a foul shot. In the end the Cavailiers went on an 8-0 run that would ultimately sink the Mustangs. Millbrook played with heart and fight throughout the game and ended the tournament on a postive note to come back on in the new year. The Mustangs will take the court again at home on January 3rd against Miss Halls.
