Co-ed Millbrook JV runners win two of three

Millbrook boys and girls jv teams combined to take on Rumsey Hall, Indian Mountain, and Dutchess Day School this past Wednesday. The conditions, cool and overcast, were ideal for running. Millbrook's Charlie Weisberg '21 was neck and neck with the top two Rumsey Hall runners for the entire race. He emerged from the woods in front and maintained his lead over the last stretch to take first in the race in 17:14. Following him, four Rumsey runners finished, cementing their victory overall in the race. Next in for Millbrook were Will Ricker '20 and Yassin Amir '21 in 19:51 and :53 respectively, edging out the next two Rumsey runners who were seconds behind. Buz Galbraith '18 and Anna Wilson '21 finished out the Millbrook scorers in 20:29 and 20:51 respectively. The team beat Indian Mountain School and Dutchess Day School handily. Also competing for Millbrook girls was Clare Carty, who finished 39th in the race overall. Congratulations to all the runners for a great day!
