Mustangs defeat Sacred Heart
In a best of three match to open the season, Millbrook won a thrilling contest 2-0 against Convent of the Sacred Heart. Millbrook was led by some strong serving, in particular by Simone Yañez, Kate Smith, and Emily Le. At a few key moments in the match, Sarah Hoover, Jenna Bressette, and India Patterson all had some big kills. It was an all around team effort as 14 girls saw the court. The team looks to be starting right where they left off at the end of last season, showing that much of the hard work put in last year is paying off.
