Millbrook Wins Division II Championship
Prior to the game, we honored our twelve seniors and their parents. It’s been a great class. The boys have given everything to the team all season long, and it’s been an absolute pleasure to coach them. The game against Albany was every bit as exciting as our last game against Berkshire. Fortunately for us, and led by our seniors, we found a way to win a close game and to capture the 2017 NEPSAC Division II League Championship. This is the first time in the last six years that we were able to bring home the Mike Fuller Cup.
The game was won when Peter Rayhill '17 fed the ball to Adam Lucas '17 who scored with 5 second left in the game. Nick Brode '18 was also a force on the field, finishing with a game-high 4 goals. Stout defense was led by Alex Sheehy ’17, Kevin Drevitch ’18 and goalie Zach Brasser ’17.
