Quartararo Throws No-No
Millbrook travelled to Williston on Saturday for an inter-divisional matchup. Jack Quartararo '17 took the mound for the Mustangs and was masterful over the course of the afternoon, using only 66 pitches to record all 21 outs without allowing a hit. The sole Williston baserunner came on a full count walk in the 5th but Quartararo quickly retired the following batter.
Quartararo also provided the sole RBI of the game, lifting a sacrifice fly to CF in the top half of the 5th to score '17 Sean Hayden who had previously singled and stolen 2B, moving to 3B on a passed ball. '17 Chris Reed and '18 Dan Dimon also added hits for the Mustangs but pitchig on both sides was the story of the afternoon.
Congratulations to Jack on his first career no-hitter! Millbrook will host Suffield Academy at home on Wednesday afternoon.
