Warner Gallery Features Antenna, Works by Alexander Shundi

Stop by the Warner Gallery in the Holbrook Arts Center to view Antenna, works by Alexander Shundi, on exhibit from February 15th through March 27th.
Alexander Shundi’s artwork has been featured in many public and private collections in the United States and abroad and has been celebrated in numerous major publications. These fascinating works are heavily influenced by the exceptional life that Alexander has led. He spent seven summers racing off-road vehicles in international rallies through Europe, Asia, and Africa and fifteen years exploring the American Southwest, with particular focus on both ancient and current pueblo culture, art, and mythology.

Alexander gave a gallery talk on February 26th about his current exhibit, Antenna. It was a splendid evening with over forty people in attendance. He explained his love of painting and the myriad images within each painting. The opportunity to speak one-on-one with the artist that created the artwork led to many fruitful conversations.
