The baseball field has seen plenty of action during this off-season, though players rounding the bases have been replaced by heavy construction equipment. After much fundraising and thoughtful planning, the baseball field is getting a highly anticipated upgrade. Shortly after the 2018-2019 school year commenced, demolition and construction started on a total renovation of the baseball field. The existing backstop area has been removed and will be replaced with a contemporary structure complete with home and away dugouts.
The renovation is expected to be completed in time for the start of the 2019 spring season. Looking from the top of Case Hill, the field is already starting to take shape, and it will be exciting to track the progress as the pieces continue to be put in place. Once completed, the field will be on par with our collegiate-quality turf field and softball Champions' Field.
We look forward to welcoming family, friends, and alumni to our new baseball complex when the first pitch is thrown in the spring.
