The Trevor Zoo is calling attention to the need to learn about and protect migratory birds by featuring an International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD) display in the Education Building. In keeping with this year’s IMBD theme—“Go Wild, Go Birding”—the display promotes the value of getting outside in the natural world and observing and learning about birds. Migratory birds at the Trevor Zoo include the Cooper’s hawk, prairie falcon, snowy owl, snow geese, bar-headed geese, Canada geese, turkey vulture, black vulture, and the white-naped crane. View the powerpoint presentation on "Go Wild, Go Birding."
