Watch our Red Pandas Zhu and Betsy in both their outdoor and indoor enclosures. Red Pandas are one of the ten endangered species at the Trevor Zoo. In the wild there may be less than 5,000 Red Pandas.
The Trevor Zoo, a member of the AZA since 1989, is the only zoo in the world located at a high school. About 90 members of the student body care for the animals on a daily basis—more than 180 animals from 80 species, eleven of which are endangered. It’s a one of a kind living-laboratory that provides incredible responsibility and rewards students with a learning experience unlike any other.
