Watch our Red Wolves in their exhibit and holding spaces. We currently have eight red wolves at the Trevor Zoo.

Red Wolves are one of 10 endangered species at the Trevor-Lovejoy Zoo. There are less than 300 Red Wolves in the world, mostly at AZA accredited facilities like ours and a small population in the wild in North Carolina

The Trevor-Lovejoy Zoo, a member of the AZA since 1989, is the only zoo in the world located at a high school. About 90 members of the student body care for the animals on a daily basis—more than 170 animals from 70 species, ten of which are endangered. It’s a one of a kind living-laboratory that provides incredible responsibility and rewards students with a learning experience unlike any other.
