Millbrook's Culminating Experience for Seniors Festival 2022

The return of the Culminating Experience for Seniors (CES) Festival this year was a resounding success. After suspending the festival and subsequently making adjustments due to COVID restrictions, it was exciting for the festival to be back at full capacity this year. Presentations were filled with underform students and adults eager to support our VIth formers and the projects that help define their Millbrook experience. Projects and presentations spanned all disciplines and all corners of campus. From improving the practice pitching mound on the baseball field to upgrading the Ski Hill experience to illuminating the dark corners of Flagler Quad, the topics this year were as varied and diverse as the students themselves.

There were a handful of presentations that gained honors distinction this year. These projects displayed an abundance of planning and execution with clearly defined culminating aspects. The 2022 projects that earned honors are:
Adam Beck - Establishing Athletic Commentary as a Community Service
Allessia Carlo - The Struggle of Undocumented Immigrants in America
Elijah Grant-Pereira - I Made an Album
Freddy Hamilton - Growing Millbrook Kicks Cancer
Evelynn Najork - The Hyde Amendment: Disproportionately Denying the Right to Abortion for Native American Women
