A Fall Play of Comic Proportions
A lighthearted night out filled with laughter might be just what you're looking for. If so, you must join us for Millbrook's fall play—guaranteed to have you laughing out loud throughout the performance!
The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong is a rip-roaring, hilarious farce full of slapstick and old-school comedy. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong, and the result is completely humorous. The cast and crew are hard at work rehearsing and often on the floor laughing.
Parents of the cast and crew are invited to attend: November 11, 12, and 13, at 8 p.m. in Millbrook's Chelsea Morrison Theater in the Holbrook Arts Center.
All other parents and friends of Millbrook School are invited to attend the November 13th show at 8 p.m.
Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and masks while indoors are mandatory.
Bring your sense of humor and bring your appetite! The fall play traditionally raises money from a bake sale held in the Kenan Lobby. Proceeds from the bake sale will be given to a local good cause.
The cast of the Millbrook fall play, The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong recently attended a Broadway performance of the full version of The Play That Goes Wrong, after which they participated in a post-show Q&A with the cast and crew. “It was remarkable,” said director Elaine Lifter, “a master class in physical comedy, timing, and the dedication and commitment it takes to be a part of any show. They were so generous with our students, and we were very grateful for the time we had with them.”
