Millbrook played together for 32 minutes to knock off a scrappy Canturbury team 69-30 on Wednesday. After a spirited couple of practices, Millbrook came out ready to play and found themselves up at 19-7 at the end of the first quarter. A second-quarter the Mustangs withstood some contested shot-making from the Saints, got the entire team involved, and pushed their lead to 32-17 heading into the half. In the 3rd quarter, Millbrook played inspired basketball and put together one of their most complete quarters of the season. It was a combination of aggressive ball pressure, off-ball activity, and sharing of the basketball that led Millbrook to a 29-4 victory in the quarter and put them ahead 61-21 heading into the 4th quarter. All Mustangs who dressed for the game contributed significant minutes in the teams' win. Millbrook assisted on 19 of 25 made baskets and shot 52% as a team on the game.
