Millbrook takes the W
Again, a thanks to Canterbury for agreeing to play extra to accomodate our large team!
We had to overcome some sickness, a really busy February for many of our girls, and a solid Canterbury squad today. Leading the way were our evens; Precious, Clara, Tracy and Lily all took their matches, only dropping one game between them. Nina got on the court next and secured the win for the team with a convincing straight game win at #7. Caroline Hopkins overcame a slow start to win the final three games and earn the 3-1 win. Our Captains struggled to get it going today, but are excited to have a chance at the same team in two weeks. Our exhibtion players played way up the ladder today and acquitted themselves well as Claire and Shea almost pulled the upsets, and Skyler took her girl to 11-13 in the deciding game! Great job securing the win on the road today!
