Mustangs Fall to Saints

JV hockey took on Canterbury in the Bontecou Rink.  Both teams played well, but Canterbury was able to control the second period and that was the difference.  Canterbury scored first but was answered in short order by Simon Thue with an assist from Aaron Gallivan.  Gallivan then scored his own to give Millbrook their only lead of the game.  Canterbury scored two more times in the first and tacked on two more in the second.  Down 5-2, Millbrook improved on their second period play and James Deng scored on a pass from Thue.  JD Whiting then netted his first career Millbrook goal on another assist from Thue.  That was as close as the Mustangs would get as Canterbury scored one more time to secure the win.  Morgan Ainley played extremely well in goal and gave the squad a chance to comeback.
