Ethel Walker Bests Millbrook 68-42

The Millbrook Mustangs fell in defeat to an Ethel Walker team fresh off a year where they lost in the NEPSAC Class C Semi-Finals. Ethel Walker was a well-coached team that put on a transition and offensive-rebounding clinic. Ethel Walker got off to a strong start making three three-point field goals in the first quarter. The second quarter was evenly played with Millbrook showing their chops contesting shots, using active hands to create deflections, and creating many assisted baskets offensively. Ethel walker used another 3-point shooting barrage in the 3rd quarter to push the lead to 22 points heading into the 4th quarter. To the Mustangs credit, Millbrook continued to play hard and contest shots to the final buzzer. Millbrook took a step in the positive direction in controllable aspects and is looking forward to continuing their progress at Cheshire Academy on Saturday.
