Fought Hard

South Kent scored an early goal but we dug in and played strong defensively for the remainder of the first half. 3rd former Alec Enchill had a slew of incredible saves in goal to keep us in it, and the back line of Jack Hamilton, Brook Vanneck, Marten Rosse, Simon Thue, and Drew Deery also had impressive performances. The half ended 2-0 after South Kent finished a PK after a questionable decision from the referee. We got on the scoreboard early in the second half after a long free kick from Ethan Kessler deflected off a South Kent player for an own-goal. South Kent responded by scoring immediately and, we while we continued to play hard, we struggled to regain any momentum thereafter.
