Two Prestigious Honors for Ousseni Bouda '19

Ousseni Bouda '19 concluded his career as a Mustang with two prestigious honors. He was named both the USA Today All-USA High School Boys Soccer Player of the Year and the Gatorade New York Boys Soccer Player of the Year.

This is the second year in a row that Ousseni has earned statewide and nationwide recognition, having been named the both the Gatorade New York Boys Soccer Player of the Year and the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2017-2018. 

"I continue to believe that Ousseni is the consummate athlete," says Head Boys Varsity Soccer Coach John Siegenthaler. "Committed to improving his play, humble about and grateful for his significant talent, dedicated to helping his teammates achieve their collective and individual goals, and deeply appreciative of the efforts of others on his behalf."

Ousseni scored 61 goals during the 2018 season and lead the Mustangs to win the NEPSAC Class C Championship. He will join the Stanford University men’s soccer team this fall.
