Girls Varsity Hockey Raised Over $1,300 For Love Your Brain

The girls varsity hockey team raised over $1,300 for Love Your Brain, an organization working to improve the lives of those impacted by traumatic brain injuries, to prevent brain injuries, and to promote brain health.

The team has been sharing information about Love Your Brain, the organization’s mission, and what can be done to help throughout the winter athletic season, and yesterday they hosted “Love Your Brain Day” at Millbrook, which culminated at their home game.

"Millbrook and the girls varsity hockey team has been supporting Love Your Brain since 2016, an effort that began as part of a community initiative to remember Ed Allen, honor Tatum Allen, and support the Love Your Brain Foundation and its mission," said Girls Varsity Hockey Coach Ana Spinella '06. "The team has proudly continued these efforts to educate our community and to support the Love Your Brain organization."

Congratulations to the team for raising awareness, for their successful and meaningful fundraising efforts, and for their win over Canterbury (1-0) at their Love Your Brain home game event!
