Millbrook Alumnae Meet in Boston

Millbrook alumni gathered in Boston on Tuesday, December 4th, to reminisce, reconnect, and listen to guest speaker Caroline Bozorth '90. The event was hosted by Sarah Calabrese '91 and Jessie Zirinsky Reed '91, P '22.

Caroline Bozorth Sayan '90, global managing director and senior vice president at Christie's, spoke on the topic of breaking the glass ceiling and the importance of mentors. "When I got to Millbrook, I found that there were no barriers," said Caroline in reflecting on how her Millbrook experience helped shape her into the confident woman that she is today. "I left Millbrook feeling like I could do anything, and as a result, I challenged myself."

After graduating from Millbrook in 1990, Caroline attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges and transferred to Syracuse University to complete her BFA with a major in art history and a minor in fine art. She also has an MBA in international business. Caroline is a mother of three and happily married for 19 years to fellow Millbrook alumnus George Sayan '88. Caroline was most recently back on Millbrook's campus to receive an Alumni Achievement Award in Fine Arts, presented to her on June 9th during Alumni Weekend 2018.

"We are especially grateful to Sarah Calabrese '91 and Jessie Zirinsky Reed '91 CP '22 for generously hosting this inaugural women's reception in Boston," said Director of the Annual Fund Deborah Vanecek. "We hope it will become an annual event where Millbrook women can continue important conversations and spend quality time sharing their life experiences. Caroline Sayan '90 was a wonderful "first" for our women of Boston!"

Thank you to everyone who attended!
