Playing in front of an enthusiastic and supportive Parents’ Weekend crowd, the Mustangs snapped a two-game losing streak to beat Salisbury Saturday afternoon. Our performance demonstrated how well-balanced and effective our team play can be. Millbrook jumped out to a quick lead, scoring one in the first minute and narrowly missing another seconds later. We controlled play, kept our composure and pressed Salisbury at every turn. Mohammed, playing in Bouda’s spot, scored four goals; Darmon scored once and assisted on two of the other goals. Day and Schwartz each had an assist, as well. Domber played very well in the midfield. Cott filled in admirably in the back. Colman provided effective leadership as captain and ran the defense impressively, earning himself yet another game card from the coaches.
