Alumnus Ben Duhoski '14 Named One of "Denison's All-Time Greats" in USLacrosse Magazine

Ben Duhoski '14 was recently featured in US Lacrosse Magazine. The article, appropriately titled Ben Duhoski Cementing Place Among Denison's All-Time Greats, discusses Duhoski's successful collegiate lacrosse career, his passion for the sport, his outstanding skill and strategy on the field, and his honors and awards.

Duhoski is a senior defenseman at Denison and one of this year's four Big Red captains. He is a two-time All-American and first-team All-NCAC honoree and was named NCAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2017.

“Ben’s one of the top four or five guys I’ve coached here,” says Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Mike Caravana in the article. This is high praise coming from Caravana, a former four-time All-American attackman at Virginia who has led Denison to three NCAA Division III final four appearances and 11 North Coast Athletic Conference championships, coaching 64 All-Americans along the way. “He can do a multitude of things and is such a good athlete - we can put him anywhere on the field," he goes on to say about Duhoski.

Duhoski '14 has always played with conquest, and he currently has his sights set on playing in the Division III Championship game on Memorial Day.

“I want us to be synonymous with getting to that level every year,” Duhoski is quoted as saying about the Big Red team. “I want to be known as the group that helped pave the way.”
