Mustangs of the Week - October 23, 2017

Varsity Field Hockey, Emma Oliva '18
Emma has been a strong contributor in Millbrook’s midfield this season. Her work ethic and great attitude each day in practice, regardless of the drill, make her one of the most consistent players on the field. Oliva leads by example and is a great senior leader on the team, both in what she says and how she carries herself.

Football, Jack Feltheimer '20
Jack’s previous experience in football was clearly demonstrated in Saturday’s game against Forman. Despite a heartbreaking loss for the Mustangs with less than 6 seconds left in the game, Jack’s performance kept the Mustangs competitive throughout the match. Jack plays multiple roles on the team: quarterback, cornerback, receiver, and anywhere else a player may be needed, and he brings his best to all positions. He is also an offensive force, scoring multiple touchdowns.

Girls Varsity Soccer, Lizzie Carter '18
Since joining the varsity team two years ago, Lizzie has been a cornerstone of the team’s defense. Not only has her speed been an asset to the team, but her skill set has improved each year. The hallmark of Lizzie’s contribution has been her consistent play. Not only has she started every game, but she has recorded four assists to-date, the most recent one being this past Saturday.

Boys Cross Country, Mateo Winogrand '19
Mateo is a reliable, hardworking team member. In our meet at Kent on Saturday, his goal was to finish in the top five, and he finished in second place! He has been dedicated and team-focused all season as well.
