Flagler Library

A quiet yet dynamic place to study and to do research, the Flagler Library is named in honor of Henry Harkness Flagler, first president of the Board of Trustees (1932 – 1952) and an early and important benefactor of the school.

The Flagler Library has a collection of over 18,000 volumes and among the holdings are several special collections, including 1400 reference works, over 90 magazine subscriptions and more than 600 videos. Millbrook students have access to several electronic databases. To augment the collection, the library is able to practice inter-library loan as a members of both the Dutchess County BOCES and the South Eastern New York Library Resources Council. These associations provide Millbrook students and faculty with the opportunity to borrow from school libraries, the New York State Public Library System, New York State University libraries and several local colleges.
