Tour Guide Biographies
Mimi Anthony
Mimi was an admission tour guide for Millbrook for much of her time here and was head of that community service her senior year. A Millbrook legacy (Robert Anthony ’65) and sibling (Arthur Anthony ’06 and Sarah '12), she is now enjoying her studies at Ohio Wesleyan University. At graduation, she was the recipient of a four-year varsity letter in field hockey (she was the former team captain) and of the McSweeney Tour Guide Award.
Isiah Behagen
A studen from the Bronx, NY, Isiah was a varsity basketball player, active in Uncensored (Millbrook’s diversity group) and a dorm leader to the freshman boys in Prum Hall. He is currently attending George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Will Benjamin
Will, from Garrison, NY was an all-school prefect as well as a two-year dorm leader his senior year in Case Hall. A “stand-out” (coach Mullen’s description) varsity lacrosse and soccer player as well as a member of the j.v. hockey team, Will was a natural choice as tour guide in the Mills Athletic Center.
Christopher Bennett
Second-to-last in a long line of Bennett brothers who are all part of the Millbrook family (Cam '02, Gavin '06 and Jake '10), Chris is now at Gettsysburg College. The Bennett brothers are from Lebanon, New Jersey. Chris was also the recipient of the McSweeney Tour Guide Award at Commencement 2008, having dedicated so much time as a student here helping prospective families know more about Millbrook.
Ben Cart
Ben followed two older brothers to Millbrook (Will ’03 and Ted ’07) and is from Poland, Ohio. Not only was he a star performer (music, drama) in the Holbrook Arts Center, he also served his school and classmates his senior year as vice president of the Student Council and all-school prefect. Ben is attending Davidson College.
Joanna Ehrenreich
Joanna (from nearby Poughquag, NY) graduated Cum Laude (as did her twin sister, Allie) from Millbrook and is now at the University of Pennsylvania. Among other honors at Commencement 2008, she received the English Writing Prize, the Blaine History Essay Prize and the Community Service Cup.
Goodwin Frasier
Also a recent graduate, Frasier is from Riverside, CT and is now attending Bard College. For “going well beyond all reasonable expectations to make Millbrook a healthier, happier, and more caring and thoughtful place,” Mr. Casertano awarded Frasier and five of his fellow graduates the Headmaster’s Merit Award at Commencement 2008.
Kelsey Reifler
The fact that Kelsey was the recipient of the Visual Arts Award at Commencement and that she is now settled happily and successfully at Elon University is no surprise to anyone who knew her at Millbrook. A gifted student and talented artist, Kelsey was a day student from Millbrook, NY, while here at school. Her brother, Cole, graduates in the spring of 2010.
Leisy Ruddock
Now at Rhodes College, Leisy came to Millbrook from Chagrin Falls, Ohio. While at school, she accomplished much and touched the lives of many, and for all that she gave to Millbrook, she was recognized at graduation ceremonies in May with the Sportsmanship Cup and the Community Service Cup.
Lucy Von Reusner
A longtime Trevor zooie, Millbrook scholar and Cum Laude graduate, Lucy is now a student at Cornell University. Having devoted untold hours at the zoo as a curator her senior year, she was awarded the Trevor Cup at commencement ceremonies. Lucy’s home is in Red Hook, NY.
