    2017 - 2018
    Head Coach: Terry Cox

Millbrook ran a very successful football program until 1978 and brought it back in the fall of 2016.

After study and discussion, eight-player football has emerged. For Millbrook, this will be a viable, long-term alternative to the game in its traditional form, and a return to the roots of the sport at independent schools.

Eight-player football offers the important lessons of leadership, sportsmanship, toughness, and teamwork inherent in eleven-player football but differs slightly in its formations and strategy, allowing for more spectacular plays and running/throwing lanes. The rules remain the same, but with fewer players on the field and slightly smaller boundaries, this game is more accessible to all players, regardless of experience.

Coach Brown and his staff have 25+ years of playing and coaching experience between them and are always looking for student-athletes that want to have fun playing the best sport on earth all while pushing themselves to become the best version of themselves.

Student-athletes that are interested in playing football at Millbrook and/or parents with questions should email or call Coach Brown (contact info below) and submit an inquiry form to the admissions office here.
