  • Basketball - Girls Varsity

    2017 - 2018
    Head Coach: Michelle Arndt

Our program prides itself on developing basketball players from athletes. Some of our players consider basketball their "first" sport, but many are field hockey, lacrosse and soccer players who love to compete and learn in athletics. Most of our players spend three or four years on the varsity team, learning to play together and forming an identity.

Our style of play emphasizes hustle, toughness, discipline and teamwork. We play hard-nosed defense and value assisted baskets over individual effort.

We play a rigorous schedule dominated by larger schools, and pride ourselves on competing at a high level while maintaining high standards of conduct and sportsmanship. In 2012, the team earned the sportsmanship award, which is presented by the referees of the league, for exceptional conduct.
