Riding

Fall, Winter, Spring
Millbrook School's riding program has been an integral fixture on campus since the early 1970’s. Riding is considered a team sport at Millbrook, and students have several options at nearby stables.

KILDARE STABLES offers lessons and horse care for novice and intermediate riders. Trainer Tom Dugan trains students in basic show jumping, eventing, dressage and field hunting. Students must provide their own riding boots (with a heel) and certified riding helmet. Students ride four days per week (M, W, Th and F) and use Kildare’s schooling horses.

COOLE PARK is owned by trainer Rebecca Coffin who prepares riders primarily for eventing. Students board their horses at Coole Park, receive one lesson per week and can ride Tuesday through Saturday.
